After completing a Masters Degree at Leeds University, Jennifer went on to train in advanced remedial massage therapy at the Northern Institute of Massage. On completion she then went on to a further 3 years of study at the Northern College of Acupuncture.
She is a member of the London Counties Society of Physiologists (LCSP), the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
For many years Jennifer was the Head of Department of Bodywork for the degree course at the Northern College of Acupuncture, where she taught massage and soft tissue work integrated with Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
She additionally chaired the board of trustees of local cancer care charity Sunflowers and helped them develop their complementary healthcare department.
Her long term interest is the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain with the integration of massage and acupuncture. She is passionate about a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare that includes the individual in their journey.
Since becoming a mother of 2 Jennifer has a growing passion for treating women's health issues through Acupuncture and holistic living.
